Along with them, I share some from my experience.
- Find out how prepared the vendors/suppliers are for disasters. If they take a hit, our bottom line gets impacted.
- Have a plan to protect your machinery, inventory or stocks from flooding. If it is possible to shift them, identify safe and device a plan to shift them to higher places.
- If possible, have a pair of employees stay with you overnight in your premises to affect these plans.
