LEADERSHIP MAXIM

For University of Missouri system President Elson Floyd, the past three-and-a-half years have been a lesson.

He explains his experiences with this maxim:“Culture eats strategy every time.”

Floyd means the culture of a state or an institution, or in our case organisation, will overcome a strategy for change.

So in order to effect a change a leader has to be persistent and also patient.
